The Seventh-day Adventist Community Services Food Bank receives and distributes tons of food every week but is nevertheless always in need of commodity items to fill their boxes. The bank lives off the generosity of St. Mary’s food bank in Phoenix and donations from locals.

The church pays the electrical bills, provides the distribution space, a walk-in refrigerator and storage facilities. But, outside of infrastructure, the food bank is a community effort.
