Editor:
Dr. Ron Paul (Rep. TX) says the purpose of the swine flu hype is to scare Americans into forced inoculations. Other sources assert that the government and the World Health Organization are using the scare to promote acceptance of global control of health care.
In the United States every year 300,000-500,000 cases of flu are reported. Currently reports of only a relatively small number of cases have been made. The many breathless broadcasts hyping swine flu appear to be a manipulation to scare people into taking swine flu shots. One questions why although the swine flu originated in Mexico, and the threat is hyped as so great, the border to Mexico is still open
In l976, under President Ford, there was a swine flu scare and a national program of vaccinations followed.
Within weeks there were reports of people becoming paralyzed after being vaccinated. Within two months more than 30 people had died and 500 were affected.
Due to the public's reluctance to risk the vaccine, the program was cancelled abruptly.
Dr. John Carlo, Dallas County medical director, stated that the current strain of swine flu had been cultured in a laboratory.
One wonders why Baxter International, Inc., which shipped live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccines to medical distributors in 18 countries, has been chosen to produce a vaccine for the swine flu.
