| Illegal immigrant population down sharply in Arizona |
The number of illegal immigrants in Arizona is down -- much more sharply than the rest of the country.

| Camp Verde Town Council may go for library loan |
The effort to build a new library continues in spite of the forces working against it.
To date, the Citizens Committee for a Camp Verde Library has (depending on the shape of the stock market) somewhere around $330,000 in the bank. The Town of Camp Verde has another $370,000, give or take, in the Mary Lyons Fund, money donated to the Town for its library. Tuesday, August 31, 2010

With all of Maricopa County's ballot now counted, Horne late Saturday had an 853 vote lead over Andrew Thomas.
