BCS board looks at out-of-district transportation request

The Beaver Creek School Governing Board meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. in regular sesson.

The board will revisit a request from charter school Rimrock Public High School to transport its students in Cornville during bus runs to Mingus Union. The recommendation is to charge $18 a day.

The board will also receive an update on the preschool and daycare programs. Beaver Creek receive 20 slots from Camp Verde Head Start. Several families are on a waiting list for daycare scholarships because of state cutbacks.

The board will review sick leave policy and look at several personnel decisions. Superintendent Karin Ward will introduce Vista volunteer Annika Head.
